The Position:
Supervisor Precast Concrete (Foreman)
We are looking for a Supervisor to run our Production Workshop.
This role is a hands-on in the workshop management role which will see the successful candidate on the tools for a large majority of the time but will require someone who is equally capable of managing, reporting, quality assurance and filling out paper work.
Permanent Full Time 42.5 Hours per week 7am till 4pm
Hourly pay based on skills and experience
What we are looking for:
-Successful supervisory experience, ideally in the precast concrete industry (3-5 years +), with well developed and effective leadership skills.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, having the ability to communicate effectively with employees in the workshop, subcontractors, suppliers, and other employees across the business.
-High level of honesty and integrity
-Ability to accurately read and work to plans/drawings.
-Knowledge and experience in precast concrete
-Practical experience in precast concrete, either hold or be currently working towards a BCITO precast concrete qualification and/or Supervisor qualification would be ideal. Further training could be provided for the right applicant.
-Ability to run production, co-ordinate people, plant and equipment
-Ability to train new employees to a high standard
-Oversea quality assurance of products being manufactured and perform Pre-pour inspections.
-Be willing and capable of undertaking contract administration tasks such as promptly completing timesheets as well as verifying crew timesheets and keeping up with production demands
-Be physically fit and enjoy physical work
-Forklift License, Car license, Class 2 Truck License is a plus
The Position:
Precast Concrete Factory Worker
Permanent Full Time 42.5 Hours per week 7am till 4pm
Concrete experience preferred however training will be provided.
Hourly pay based on skills and experience
Requirements:
-Have reliable transport to and from work
-Fit and healthy (involves Heavy Lifting)
-Positive attitude
Responsibilities:
-Pouring and setting concrete products
-Stripping and preparing steel molds
-Bending and tying reo
-Preparing orders for delivery
-Finishing of concrete
-Welding
-Forklift Operation
-Other varied tasks as required

Engineer/Welder
